sleep apnea oral appliances

Sleep Apnea is a serious health concern, which if left untreated Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) increases your risk for high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, depression and sexual dysfunction. It even increases the risk of death.

Many patients who have been diagnosed and treated for OSA have shown a intolerance to CPAP or other medical devices. In many cases, an oral appliance is a much preferred and equally effective way to treat OSA.

Oral appliances to treat OSA come in many types and not one style fits all. We will evaluate patients' dentition, temporomandibular joint (TMJ), function and oral habbits to decide which type of oral appliances work best for you.
